ABOUT FUZZ

Where Wild Stories Fuel Real Conservation

FUZZ delivers stories from Earth's wildest frontiers directly to your inbox three times a week, taking you from Mongolia's frozen steppes to Florida's secret panther corridors to the deep ocean's bioluminescent depths.

But we're more than just another nature publication. We're building a direct pipeline between storytelling and real-world impact.

Our Approach: Adventurous Journalism With Purpose

Each FUZZ newsletter combines:

  • Deep-dive reporting on the world's most fascinating creatures and the humans protecting them

  • Field dispatches from our team's expeditions to track elusive species and document conservation in action

  • Scientific insights explained with clarity and enthusiasm

  • Stunning photography capturing wildlife in their natural habitats

  • Quick links to breaking conservation news and unexpected animal discoveries

The FUZZ Difference: 100% Direct Impact

Unlike traditional media, every penny from paid subscriptions goes directly to conservation projects around the world. Not a portion. Not after expenses. All of it.

Each month, our subscriber community votes on where to direct that month's FUZZ Funds – from expanding camera trap networks tracking rare species to supporting community-led protection efforts.

Then we show you exactly what your support accomplished through field updates, photos from researchers, and follow-up reporting.

Who We Are

FUZZ is founded by Dan Fletcher, a journalist whose work has appeared in TIME Magazine, VICE, and Bloomberg. After years reporting on technology and media, Dan's passion for wildlife conservation led him to create a publication that combines adventure storytelling with tangible impact.

The FUZZ team regularly ventures into the field to document conservation efforts firsthand – whether that means enduring -40°F temperatures in Mongolia tracking the world's oldest cat species, photographing endangered Florida panthers, or joining researchers monitoring great white sharks off California's coast.

Join The Mission

Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast, conservation professional, or simply curious about the incredible diversity of life on our planet, FUZZ offers stories that inspire wonder while creating meaningful change.

Free subscribers receive our Monday newsletters. Paid subscribers get the full experience (Monday/Wednesday/Friday), vote on conservation funding, and occasionally receive updates from the specific projects they've helped support.

Either way, you'll be part of a community that's turning fascination with wildlife into action for their protection.
